Resolve checklist issues
Review automated results, attach evidence, and complete the applicable closing checks.

Checklists combine accounting data, documents, your inputs, and automated results. A passing status should reflect work you have reviewed; it is not a substitute for the underlying evidence.
Work through a check
- Open Checklists and select an applicable check.
- Read its scope and outstanding messages.
- Inspect the source balances and referenced documents, using the sidebars where useful.
- Enter or correct the requested information, review suggestions, and attach the relevant evidence.
- Record your conclusion and review the resulting status.
For a bank reconciliation, compare the correct period-end statement with the corresponding ledger account, investigate differences, and retain the evidence supporting your conclusion.
Missing evidence or failed automation
Check the document’s client, period, readability, and account reference. An uploaded file is not necessarily assigned to the relevant check. Attach the intended document using the check’s document controls and verify the selection.
If an automated operation fails, read its error, correct the missing input or access problem, then retry using the available action. If it keeps failing, contact support with the check name and error text. Do not interpret a failure as a passing result.
Notes and attachment visibility
Record explanations for unresolved or exceptional items. Check the visibility assigned to attachments and inspect what is selected in Finalize: internal, external, and customer labels have different uses, and external attachments are selected for the pack by default unless overridden.
A note explaining an issue does not itself correct a balance or post a booking. See Approve and post bookings.
Review again after changes
Changing accounting data, mappings, documents, or assumptions can change a check’s result. Allow processing to finish, review the affected checks and suggested bookings again, and regenerate the report when needed. Rollover does not make prior-year conclusions valid for the new year.
Before finalization, resolve outstanding issues or document the approved treatment, then inspect the draft pack. See Finalize a statement and build the compliance pack.
